The Proposal
American 7/11 inspired, a late shift working in a gas station. The worker, alone and bored one night, sees the shiny new slushy machine and decides to give it a taste. The neon liquid induces a crazed sugar high and the clerk is on a frenzy around the shop until crashing over the counter in a colourful blur.

Final Animated Shots
Additionally as lead compositor, I managed the team into formulating this bold, colourful style which would target our intended younger audience and connote the crazed sugar high the character is on. I used After Effects to create these scenes, using the 3D layer option to light and set the scenes and manipulate the cameras in comp.

Final Backgrounds
As lead background artist in this project, I needed to create a quick and effectient solution for constructing the shop the animation would take place in. So, in Maya, I modelled the shop, basing it off of an American 7/11 for style reference. Here the layouts were able to easily be captured and sent off to the animators, and the team of background artists could work off accurate perspectives and have heightend efficiency.
